Questions people ask us
Is the free plan really free?
Yes. The accounting core, reports and CSV bank imports stay free. Registration is open during Beta, and no card is required to create a Free workspace.
Do I need to understand double-entry bookkeeping?
No. You invoice customers, record bills and match your bank; the debits and credits happen underneath. Your accountant will thank you for it and you never have to look.
Can my accountant get in?
Yes — they get their own login with access you grant and can revoke, rather than your password.
What about payroll?
We don't run payroll and we're not going to pretend otherwise. Payroll will be handled by a specialist partner; a dedicated payroll import is not available yet.
Can I get my data out?
Every financial report can be downloaded as CSV today. A self-service full-ledger export is planned and is not available yet.
Which countries do you support?
The US and Canada. Our LedgerCore system supports multi-company, multi-national, multi-GAAP accounting if your roadmap has those in view.
